When I found out there was a carrier made specifically for water, I had to try it. My son lives in his Ergobaby, and we just recently retired the Moby Wrap. The Beachfront Baby Carrier Sling is similar to other slings, but is made of mesh and works great for taking baby in the water with you.
I brought my Beachfront Sling to Orlando for our week long vacation. While we didn’t swim as much as I’d hoped, the sling was great to keep my son close for his second time in a pool. It took me quite a few tries to get it right, as I was used to a wrap not a sling. Once I figured it out, it was easy to slide on and off. I wish I would have invested in one of these earlier, as my son is quickly approaching the weight limit. I would suggest a Beachfront sling to any mamas with little ones who like to swim, yet stay close to mom. They are a handy device!
It was hard to get a picture, as my husband was off working all day. Once we finally did, I wasn’t aware that it wasn’t the best picture. Due to the fact that my suit was black and the sling was dark blue, you can hardly see it. If you want to see a better picture of what the slings look like, go to http://www.beachfrontbabywraps.com.
