Dining Orlando: Marlow’s Tavern

I was a bit skeptical of taking my son into a bar and grill with a name that included ‘tavern’; however, the atmosphere inside was great. We ate at Marlow’s Tavern on International Drive during the early evening, and it was not packed at all yet. It was a perfect time to go with a child They had high chairs available, which we readily used with the padded cover we bought online. This was the first time my son sat in a highchair!

Our server was Daniella, and she was very friendly and prompt. We ordered our appetizer and main course right away, because we weren’t sure how long my son would last. I had to modify the items on the menu to be dairy and gluten-free, and Daniella was very knowledgeable on what I should leave off. We settled on hummus for an appetizer, and grilled chicken sandwiches are our main course. I, of course, withheld the bun and asked for a lettuce wrap instead. I also chose to substitute fruit for the fries. We very satisfied with our main meal, but I was the most thrilled about our appetizer. It was some of the best hummus I have ever tasted. I’m already craving more! I would definetly recommend trying it if you visit Marlow’s Tavern.

Note: We received a complimentary appetizer, but all the opinions are my own. The rave review on the hummus was not because it was free. Regardless of the price, it was honestly the best I have ever tasted!
